We identified an error in the way that the effort and bycatch data were plotted in Figure 7a and 7b. We initially plotted average hours of fishing per haul, instead of total hours of fishing. In addition, we interpolated across the study area, which results in effort and bycatch being shown where it was not observed. This has been corrected in Figure 7, and does not change any conclusions of the original paper.
